No hay que esforzarse mucho para mostrar racionalmente los encuadres de la ciencia en el seno de la cultura y los altibajos históricos de sus relaciones. Y fue la unidad del bloque ciencia-filosofa la que, desde la primacía griega y durante más de una docena de siglos, resistente a su fragmentación, compuso la síntesis cultural de la humanidad. De un lado, el Renacimiento supuso el auge extraordinario de la literatura y el arte; de otro, la ciencia, so pretexto del advenimiento moderno del método y de la liberación de sus trabas religiosas, se desvincula de la filosofía.…
