Ante todo, agradecer a la Real Academia de Ciencias Exactas, Físicas y Naturales estar hoy, aquí, ante ustedes. No ya a la Real Academia sino a las personas que lo han hecho factible: a José Manuel Aroca y, muy en especial, a Manuel López Pellicer. Nos encontramos conmemorando un aniversario. Algo que puede convertirse en rutina, en autojustificación para reuniones; lo que, en cierta manera, está ocurriendo en otros campos.
