Guárdate del agua mansa es una de las piezas calderonianas de mayor actualidad. La comedia desarrolla el tema de las apariencias tratado desde una óptica bastante original, en donde el «agua mansa» alude a todas aquellas jóvenes que parecen no tener capacidad de acción, pero que al final son con quienes hay que estar más precavido. Sin embargo, la pieza también nos habla de un fascinante Madrid que seduce a la juventud ya desde el mismo inicio de la pieza, un Madrid visual que entra por los ojos y que conquista al instante.…
