La poetisa polaca Wisława Szymborska, premio Nobel desde 1996, califica como «la catástrofe» el galardón que la convirtió en una mujer conocida en el mundo entero. Amante de su soledad, su sencillez y las calles de la ciudad que la vio crecer –Cracovia–, ha logrado mantener su estilo de vida a pesar de todo. Su poesía se caracteriza por la ironía y la ausencia de solemnidad. En este artículo, la novelista Care Santos aborda algunos de sus textos desde una mirada personal y también cargada de lirismo.
