Abstract

In the present work we analysed the entrance, the permanence and the promotion of two groups of researchers between years 1984 and 2006 in the CONICET, main organism dedicated to the scientific research in Argentina. In the studied period we noticed that the inequalities between women and men persist although a favorable evolution in the insertion of the women in the scientific sector is observed.
