The authors’ reflection on the evolution of the Defense during the last years, on the nowadays situation and on different prospects in the future. The Defense Culture is not a static matter but it develops like the reality of life and the citizens’ perception of this very reality. A large consensus on Security and Defense policy influences the perception of Security and Defense Culture. The role of the Parliament and the new conceptions on Security must positively affect the development of this culture.
