Sobre naturaleza e historia en el Humanismo español

Lo que el hombre, en cada momento de su existir, piensa que son las cosas físicas que hay en su mundo en torno constituye, sin duda, una de las cosas, a su vez, más importantes que posee. Ahora bien: eso que el hombre cree que son las cosas que le rodean, formulado con un sentido de unidad, significa su concepto de naturaleza. Por ende, su concepto de naturaleza representa algo decisivo para el hombre y muy interesante, por esa sola razón, para poder entender el tipo humano que en cada época se nos manifiesta. Podría hacerse una sumamente sugestiva historia de la cultura, siguiendo el hilo de los cambios en el concepto de naturaleza.
